By accessing or using ratemyresearchyear (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. The Site is operated under the project name ratemyresearchyear.

2. Eligibility

To submit a review you must have a verified academic email address and have completed a research year under the Principal Investigator you are reviewing. By creating an account you represent that you meet this eligibility requirement.

3. Content license

By submitting a review you grant ratemyresearchyear a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your submitted content on the Site and in connection with the Site’s services. You retain ownership of your content.

4. Prohibited content

You may not submit content that:

• Contains personally identifiable information about any individual (including yourself);
• Is defamatory, false, or misleading;
• Constitutes hate speech, harassment, or threats;
• Is spam, promotional, or off-topic;
• Violates any applicable law.

5. Reviews are opinions

Reviews on this Site reflect the personal opinions of their authors. They do not represent the views of ratemyresearchyear. The Site makes no representations about the accuracy or completeness of any review.

6. Moderation and removal

ratemyresearchyear reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or its Content Policy, at its sole discretion, without notice.

7. No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
